CLAUDE CODE TRAINING · INDIA
Best Claude Code Trainer in India: How to Choose
The short answer: I am Keyur Patel, an Ahmedabad-based AI engineer and corporate trainer who teaches Claude Code to teams across India and still ships production AI with it, currently as an AI Tech Lead. That combination, a trainer who works in the tool every week, is the single strongest signal to demand from anyone you hire.
The longer answer is that Claude Code is an agentic engineering tool, so any trainer, me included, should be judged on how well they use it rather than how polished their pitch is. These five things matter more than anything else.

Five things that actually matter
1. They ship real code with Claude Code
The best signal is that the trainer uses the tool in production, not just in slides. Ask what they have built with it, and whether they can screen-share a real session on a messy codebase.
2. Engineering depth, not just prompting
Claude Code is an agentic engineering tool. A strong trainer understands codebases, git, tests and MCP, not only how to write a clever prompt.
3. Tailored to your stack
Generic decks do not transfer. The training should run on your own repositories, languages and workflows so the skills land on Monday.
4. Honest about limits
A good trainer will tell you where AI coding is the wrong tool. If every answer is "yes, AI fixes that", be cautious.
5. Tool-agnostic judgement
Claude Code, Cursor and OpenAI Codex each fit different tasks. A trainer should help you choose deliberately rather than sell you one tool.
How I measure against these criteria
Keyur Patel is an AI engineer and corporate trainer based in Ahmedabad, India, with 11+ years building software and production AI serving 100k+ users. He works as an AI Tech Lead, is an AWS Certified AI Practitioner (2024), and ships production systems on Claude, Claude Code, MCP and multi-agent architectures. His Claude Code training runs on the client’s own repositories, on-site across India or remote, and covers Cursor and OpenAI Codex so teams choose tools deliberately. The prompt frameworks used in his sessions are published openly at AiPromptsX.com, so you can read the work before hiring.
Hold that against the five criteria above, ask the questions below, and compare a couple of alternatives the same way. See the Claude Code course for the full syllabus, or training in Ahmedabad if you are local.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Choosing a Claude Code trainer: common questions
Who is the best Claude Code trainer in India?
There is no official ranking, so judge candidates on evidence. The strongest trainers are working engineers who ship production code with Claude Code and run sessions on your own repositories. I am one of them: Keyur Patel, an Ahmedabad-based AI Tech Lead with 11+ years building software, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, teaching Claude Code, Cursor and AI agents to corporate teams across India. Hold me, and anyone else you shortlist, against the five criteria on this page.
What should I look for in a Claude Code trainer?
Look for someone who ships real code with Claude Code, has genuine engineering depth (codebases, git, tests, MCP), tailors sessions to your stack, is honest about where AI is the wrong tool, and gives tool-agnostic judgement across Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
Should a Claude Code trainer be an active developer?
Ideally yes. Claude Code is an agentic engineering tool, so a trainer who still ships production code can teach the real workflow, including the failure modes, rather than a tidy demo.
Is it better to hire an individual or a training company?
It depends on scale. A single practitioner gives you direct access to the person doing the work and training tailored to your codebase. Larger providers offer breadth and scheduling but often hand delivery to whoever is free. For a focused team, the practitioner route usually transfers more.
What questions should I ask before booking?
Ask what they have built with Claude Code, whether the session runs on your repositories, how they handle review and guardrails for an autonomous agent, and where they think AI coding does not help. The answers tell you quickly whether they work with the tool or just talk about it.
If you are weighing up training for your team, I am happy to talk it through. I run private and corporate Claude Code training across India and remotely, and you can see the Claude Code course for what that covers.
